Wellness x Design, hosted by MF Architecture, as part of the AIA Austin “Women in Architecture” exhibit, was a great success! The evening event featured 5-minute talks by UT-Austin School of Architecture Interim Dean Elizabeth Danze, in addition to Matt Fajkus and several other wellness advocates and leaders in town including Adam Metcalf, owner of Hill Country Apothecary and Alive + Well Wellness Center, as well as Kim and Tara Miller, the owners of Austin Barre3. The topics spanned from urban planning and public health to personal physical and mental strength. The guests enjoyed small bites and drinks while mingling amidst the exhibit space.
