Ingrid Gonzalez Featherston, AIA, NCARB, RID

Senior Architect
Bachelor of Architecture, Mississippi State University

Ingrid is an architect and advocate for design in both her role at MF Architecture and the wider professional community. At the office, she works to find thoughtful design solutions that emerge through a collaborative design process between client, architect, and builder. Ingrid's collaborative approach encourages a holistic design process and experience for users, by seeking benefits for users on the individual level while also making a positive impact on the project's broader community and physical context. She approaches projects of all scales through the lens of site specificity while also exploring the role materiality and scale can play in defining space.

As an advocate, Ingrid works to knit together community thought leaders and volunteers to broaden their reach and audience. Through her participation with the ACE Mentor Program of Austin, AIA Austin, and NOMA Central TX she amplifies the strength of people coming together to form one purpose and voice. Engaging in each of these organizations strengthens her resolve to mentor our future leaders, creating awareness and opportunities to become agents of change within their communities, the key to a more equitable practice of architecture.
